He’s shy at first, but once you’ve earned his trust, he’ll show you his love with his signature "Wilbur lean" into your side and maybe even a gentle kiss or two. Wilbur gets along beautifully with his foster’s dogs, though he prefers to relax near them rather than engage in play. His idea of a perfect day includes soaking up the sunshine in the yard, listening to birdsong, and watching for his feathered friends with total fascination—he’s absolutely mesmerized by them! When it’s time for a walk, he’s great on leash in his harness and loves exploring, though you’ll definitely notice when a squirrel or rabbit catches his eye. Described by his foster as "a weighted blanket with a wagging tail," Wilbur is steady, soothing, and full of quiet warmth. He’s considerate and patient—never one to rush ahead on the stairs or demand too much attention. He enjoys his chew toys, listens well, and has perfected the art of relaxation (with the occasional adorable snore).
