Lobo is a stunning 2-year-old male husky weighing approximately 56 lbs. He came to us from the streets of South Texas, found starving and in poor condition. Thankfully, a sanctuary took him in and nursed him back to health. After battling and overcoming multiple skin infections, Lobo is now ready to find his forever home. He has the most gorgeous sky-blue eyes and loves to "talk" to anyone and everyone, sure to brighten your day. Lobo is mildly active, enjoying outdoor play and sunbathing, but also loves to relax inside, especially with some AC. He is incredibly loyal and thrives on companionship, preferring to be with his person rather than left alone.
Ideal Home
Lobo would do best with someone who loves the outdoors and can spend plenty of time with him. He is very attached to his people and loves to cuddle up close after a day of activity.
Ongoing Health
Lobo is fixed, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm prevention, and de-wormer. He is microchipped and will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to transport. Lobo is heartworm positive and has received the 30-day course of antibiotics. He needs to remain on heartworm prevention for 12-16 months and be retested afterward.
Training & Support
Lobo is crate trained and responds to the word "kennel." With consistency and patience, he will easily learn other commands. He is very vocal but is also a sweet boy who welcomes strangers with open paws.

Transporation
Lobo is currently in a sanctuary in South Texas, along the Texas/Mexico border. He can be transported to the Central US and the East Coast. Transport stops include: Albany, NY; Wells, VT; Brattleboro, VT; Nashua, NH; Willington, CT; Stamford, CT; Dayville, CT; Steubenville, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Grove City, OH; Grove City, PA; Washington, PA; Ridgefield, NJ; Mt Laurel, NJ; Emmitsburg, MD; Elkton, MD; Falls Church, VA; and Glenn Allen, VA. Transport occurs every 2-3 weeks.
