Meet Benson! This handsome 1 1/2-year-old Corgi/Jack Russell mix weighs about 40 pounds and has a heart full of love and a playful spirit. Benson is incredibly friendly and adores people, always ready to make a new friend. While his cropped ears might give him a tough look, he's a total softie at heart with a sweet, affectionate personality that shines through. His stubby legs are just part of his adorable charm! Benson is a quiet boy, rarely barking except when he's having a blast playing with his canine pals. He's very dog-friendly and enjoys romping with other dogs. Benson loves the outdoors, whether he's exploring the yard, playing games, or just soaking up the sun. He's also a smart cookie, already knowing commands like sit, down, shake, and roll over.

Ideal Home

Benson would thrive in an active home with a dog-loving person who understands he'll need a little time to adjust and settle in.

Ongoing Health

Benson is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will be finished by the end of August. A local adopter must agree to continue his care through completion. Once treatment is complete, he'll be ready for a long, healthy life. He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Like many young dogs, Benson is still working on his house training but is eager to learn and responds well to positive guidance. With patience and consistency, he's making great progress.
