Vera is a young, female Husky mix who was tragically abandoned on her first birthday and left at a kill shelter. Despite being in pain and terrified, her tail still managed a hopeful wag. Her only "crime" was having blood in her urine, which led people to give up on her. Fortunately, our rescue team saw the resilient spark in her eyes and fought for her freedom. Now, Vera is healthy, vibrant, and more than ready to shower a loving family with the devotion she was so cruelly denied. She's eager to trade the cold concrete for a warm home filled with the hope, love, and safety she has always deserved.

Vera is looking for a family who will cherish her and never give up on her again. She has a big heart and is ready to give her whole self to someone who will appreciate her.

Ongoing Health

Vera is heartworm negative, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccinations. She is in excellent health and ready for a new life.

Training & Support

Vera is house-trained and appears to get along well with other dogs and children. She is ready to begin her new life and will undoubtedly thrive with consistent love and positive reinforcement.
