Meet Rover, your next adventure buddy! This handsome 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur is an athletic, gentle soul with so much love to give. Rover naturally bonds with women and can be a bit cautious around men initially, so he needs a patient adopter who will let him settle in at his own pace. Once he feels safe, his true personality shines, and he becomes a faithful companion eager to be by your side for hikes, relaxation, or car rides.

Rover is an active boy who loves fetch, running, exploring, and splashing in water. He's also a great traveler, walks well on a leash, and enjoys new adventures. He gets along with other dogs who understand good manners and give him space, and he has lived peacefully with cats and chickens.

Ideal Home

Rover could do very well in an apartment if his adopter is home much of the day and committed to providing daily exercise and enrichment. A secure yard is important, as he can climb a 6-foot wooden privacy fence, so supervised outdoor time is recommended.

Ongoing Health

Rover is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and current on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention.

Training & Support

Rover is potty trained and kennel trained. He is well-mannered in the home.
