Cordelia

Meet our sweet Mama, Cordelia! Born in September 2024, this gentle soul came to us with a story of resilience. She spent her early days living rurally, part of a pack of dogs who had to fend for themselves. Thankfully, a kind community provided them with food and support, working hard to get them all the help they needed. Cordelia arrived very thin and undersocialized, bravely battling ticks and hair loss. The biggest surprise came when she gave birth to six healthy puppies right here, a testament to her strength despite her own poor condition. Even as a young, nervous mama, she was incredibly devoted to her babies. Now spayed, healthy, and filling out, Cordelia is ready to embrace a loving forever home! She's a big girl who adores other dogs and loves spending time outdoors.

Ideal Home

Cordelia would thrive in a patient home that understands her need to adjust to indoor living. While she's great with older children, a loud, busy household with young kids might be overwhelming for her. Her greatest success will come from having a confident canine companion to learn from and play with.

Ongoing Health

Cordelia has been spayed and is now healthy and regaining her strength.

Training & Support

Cordelia is still learning about indoor living and will need patience as she adjusts. Having another dog in the home will be a great asset for her continued growth and confidence.
