Posey

Meet Posey! This 5-year-old, spayed female, apple-head Chihuahua is a total snuggle bug looking for her forever lap. Posey was originally rescued when her person sadly passed away. She's pee-pad trained and also enjoys going potty outdoors, especially if you accompany her to the middle of the lawn for a little off-leash time – she’s not a fan of pottying on a leash.

Ideal Home

Posey would do best in a home with someone experienced with tiny toy breeds. She previously had a disagreement with another small dog in the home and has a tendency to chase feet when visitors arrive, so a home without other small dogs and where this behavior can be managed would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Posey is a healthy girl.

Training & Support

Posey needs a firm hand to ensure she doesn't become too bossy. Like any dog, she can be disciplined, and gentle guidance will help her understand appropriate behavior. Consistency is key to her success!
