Hi there! I'm Koda, and yes, I'm the taller one of the duo. My brother, Kenai, and I are basically twin brothers – we look alike, have the same boundless energy, and even share a knack for bickering over nothing. We can go from a dramatic showdown to defending each other like the world depends on it in a heartbeat. That's just our dynamic!
We arrived here from Enid in February, and since then, we've heard a few things about us, like "littermate syndrome," "not getting along with other dogs," and "a lot to handle." We get it. We're not really looking to make new canine pals; we're quite happy being each other's sole canine companion. So, we need a home where it's just the two of us, no other pets, and no need to share the spotlight. It's a package deal, and that's how we like it.
But if you offer us that dedicated space, you'll find we're incredibly sweet. I'm generally the more laid-back of the two. I enjoy my kennel, my meals, and doing my own thing. While I might bark at the neighbors now and then, who doesn't? Kenai is the more boisterous and attention-seeking one, so I let him handle the initial greetings. I just need a moment to warm up, and once I do, I'm all in! We'd absolutely shine in a home with just our humans – no other animal drama, no competition, just a peaceful environment where we can truly relax and be our wonderful selves. Offer us that, and we promise to give you our all. Plus, you get two of us, which is a pretty great deal!
