Cooper is a handsome 80# Great Pyrenees mix who is returning to us through no fault of his own, and we're determined to find him a new home where he can spend the rest of his life! He was adopted from us exactly one year ago, and his original name was Snowy, which was a perfect fit for his stunning snowy-white fur.
Cooper absolutely LOVES children and is happiest when he's part of the family action. He also enjoys the company of other dogs, though he tends to prefer female companions. He has a unique way of showing affection and loves to "hold hands"!
Like many Great Pyrenees, Cooper takes his role as a family protector very seriously. He is not aggressive, but he is wonderfully devoted. If he feels his people need watching over, he will calmly position himself in front of them and let everyone know he's on duty with his impressive bark. This is all part of his loyal and loving nature. Cooper has excellent house manners, is housetrained, and crate trained. He has not been around cats, so we recommend a cat-free household.
Cooper's other great passion in life is being outdoors! He loves spending time outside so much that convincing him to come back inside can sometimes be a challenge. A home with a secure yard where he can safely patrol, relax, and enjoy the fresh air would be a dream come true for him.
Cooper deserves a family who will cherish him for the wonderful dog he is. If you're looking for a gentle giant with a loving heart, a watchful eye, and endless devotion to give, Cooper may be waiting just for you.
