Penny

Penny is a 1-year-old, 60lb sweetheart who truly blossoms once she trusts you. She arrived at our rescue needing some extra care and has been working hard on her confidence. Penny was found as a tiny puppy in rough condition and, after growing healthy, surprised everyone by revealing her American Pitbull Terrier heritage! While she's come a long way with socialization and training, she's still a bit apprehensive in new situations and needs a patient and understanding home. Penny is looking for an adult-only home where she can be the only pet, giving her the focused attention she needs to continue to thrive.

Ideal Home

Penny needs a quiet, adult-only home with no other pets. She thrives in a calm environment where she can build trust at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Penny is fully vetted and is currently on medication for a skin and yeast condition.

Training & Support

Penny is housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained. She is working on her comfort level with other dogs. Patience and continued positive reinforcement will be key to her success.
