Poppy

Poppy is a sweet and spirited girl who is just over a year old and has been with us since she was a pup. She has a unique personality and is looking for a very special home where she can continue to thrive. Poppy loves to play with the other dogs and enjoys roughhousing with them. She can be a bit reserved around new people, but once she gets to know you, she can be quite affectionate on her own terms. Poppy was born around May 15, 2025, and will likely be around 25 lbs. She came to us as an 8-week-old puppy with a bit of an attitude, and we've been working with her ever since. While she's made incredible progress, she still needs a patient and understanding adopter.

Ideal Home

Poppy would do best in a home that understands her need for space and time to warm up. She thrives in environments where she can interact with other dogs and has plenty of room to play.

Ongoing Health

Poppy is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and is microchipped. She has no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Poppy is learning to use a doggy door and is generally good about using potty pads. She hasn't had much experience with collars or leashes, so this will be a new adventure for her. Consistency and positive reinforcement will be key to her continued success.
