JOEY

Meet Joey, a charming and energetic 2-year-old pup with beautiful golden tan fur and captivating green eyes! Joey is a sweet boy who absolutely adores being with his people, whether he's snuggling up close or enjoying a good walk. He's been living with foster dog siblings and has a blast with his foster sister, who is larger than him, engaging in playful romps.

Ideal Home

Joey would do best in a home without small pets. He would also enjoy having another dog his size or larger to play with. However, if you're looking for a canine companion to dote on, Joey would also be perfectly happy as an only dog, as he loves his human companions and would appreciate having your attention all to himself!

Ongoing Health

Joey is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, but he is still available for adoption.

Training & Support

Joey is a well-behaved boy who walks nicely on a leash and already knows his basic commands, including SIT, STAY, and DOWN. He's even been taught to sit and wait patiently for his food until he's given the "ok" to eat. He is crate trained and comfortable in his crate during the workday and at night. Joey enjoys taking breaks outdoors and going for a daily walk. Inside the home, he has not shown any destructive tendencies towards furniture.
