Duke

Duke is a 5-year-old, 64lb bundle of energy looking for his forever home! He's a typical active Labrador who loves most humans. Duke enjoys playing with other dogs but tends to prefer larger, more laid-back canine companions. He's lived happily with children and other dogs in his previous home. He walks well on a leash but could benefit from some additional impulse control training. Duke would be overjoyed to have a spacious yard and a larger dog sibling to romp around with.

Ideal Home

Duke would thrive in a home with a large yard and a larger, lower-energy dog sibling to play with. He has experience living with human children.

Ongoing Health

Duke's medical condition is currently under re-evaluation, and he may require periodic medication.

Training & Support

Duke could use some additional impulse control training.

Application Details:

• Applications begin by contacting us through Wags.
• For animals under 3 years old or with health issues, a vet reference is required (meaning you must currently own or have previously owned a pet in your name).
• The adoption fee of $310 covers all vetting, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and any other medical care required while in rescue.
• Adoptions are held on Saturdays at varying locations; please check our homepage for this week's event details.

Transportation

Duke is located in the Tricounty area. We only adopt locally within a 2-hour radius of the Tricounty area, with potential exceptions for senior or hard-to-place dogs.
