Sunshine would do best in a calm, quiet home with patient and observant humans. She needs a predictable environment and a gentle hand to help her build confidence. Due to her sensitivity to fast movements and unpredictability, she would not be a good fit for homes with small children. She also thrives with the companionship of another calm dog, which helps her feel more secure.

Sunshine recently tested positive for heartworm and will be undergoing treatment before she is ready for adoption.
