Storm

Hi there, I'm Storm! I'm a 3-year-old pittie/terrier mix with a heart of gold, but I can be a little shy at first. When I meet new people or find myself in new places, I can get a bit nervous and awkward as I figure things out. But trust me, if you give me a little time and patience, I'll warm up and become your most devoted companion, showering you with cuddles and sweet kisses.

I'm discovering the joy of play and absolutely love toys! Walks are another favorite activity, and I'm a fantastic leash walker. After a good stroll, I enjoy relaxing and snuggling with my favorite people. Having other calm, patient dogs around has helped me gain confidence and come out of my shell. My goofy side truly shines when I have a dog friend to interact with.

I was surrendered when my owner moved to a place that didn't allow dogs. Though I was scared when I first arrived at the shelter, I'm getting braver every day and learning that the world can be a wonderful place. I've been told I did well with cats and kids in my previous home, but because I'm still building my confidence, I'd be happiest in a quieter environment with older children or teenagers who understand I need a little extra patience.

Ideal Home

I need someone who will go slow with me, cheer me on, and celebrate my successes. A calmer home with older kids or teenagers would be ideal, as I'm still gaining confidence.
