Robin is a handsome 1.5-year-old, 37 lb Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart full of love to give! He's a lanky fellow who dreams of being your best friend and adventure buddy. Robin was unfortunately abandoned by his previous family, but his sweet nature and good looks quickly landed him in a foster home where he's been showering everyone with affection. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, including a playful puppy, and he absolutely adores children. While he's still learning to keep all four paws on the floor when he gets excited about meeting new people, this smart boy will undoubtedly pick up on commands quickly with a little positive reinforcement training. Robin is already crate and potty trained, and he's making great progress with his leash manners, though he might pull a bit initially as he's eager to explore and make friends. Because he's experienced abandonment, he might need a little extra time and reassurance to feel completely settled and secure in his new home, but he is so worth it! He would thrive in an active household where he can enjoy runs, hikes, or playdates to burn off his youthful energy. Robin's ideal day would involve a good walk, making new friends, and then curling up for a nap right beside you, his favorite person.
Ideal Home
Robin would do best in a home that can provide him with plenty of activity and attention. He adores children and other dogs. He might do best with older children (over 8) due to his excited greetings, but he's a quick learner.

Robin is up-to-date on core vaccinations and has been neutered and microchipped.
Training & Support
Robin is crate and potty trained and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. He will benefit from continued training to help him understand commands like "four on the floor." Due to his past abandonment, he may need extra time and reassurance to feel fully settled.
