Timberrrr... get ready to fall in love. Not in a loud, chaotic way... this Timber is more like a quiet love and suddenly a life you can't imagine living without her.
She's estimated to be around 4 years old and weighs 47 lbs. She looks like a perfectly petite pittie, but you know the drill, rescue rules apply, breed and birthday are our best guess. What we do know for sure is that she is an absolute dream to live with. She's currently fostered in a loving home where she's already proven to be easy, relaxed, and just a joy to have around. The kind of dog who makes this easily better.
Timber has this soft, thoughtful way about her. She's incredibly loving with people, confident when meeting new friends, and just naturally gentle in everything she does. She takes treats so carefully it almost feels like she's being polite about it, and when she's excited, she does the cutest little tippy-taps with her front feet like she's celebrating the moment. It's easily one of those small things that ends up quickly becoming your favorite thing.
Her energy level is that sweet spot. She's happy to go for a walk, happy to hang out, happy to just exist alongside you. No chaos, no constant need for entertainment, just easy companionship. And to add to that ease, she is both house and crate trained!
Ideal Home
Timber prefers calm, easygoing dog friends and would do best in a lower-energy environment or even as your one and only. She will pass on life with pushy young dogs.
Ongoing Health
Timber is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. She has also had a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Timber is house and crate trained. She is easy and responsive on leash, taking direction well. She has also shown a nice balance of curiosity and respect around cats.

Transporation
Timber is located in the Houston area. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters).
