With time, he has shown that he is able to warm up enough to accept treats and allow gentle handling, though he may prefer limited interaction while he builds confidence. Dude tends to be more independent right now and is still learning to feel comfortable on leash and around other dogs. A calm, patient approach will help him continue to settle in and show more of his personality over time.
