NALA!

Nala is a sweet and special 9-month-old German Shepherd mix who was rescued after being surrendered to a kill shelter due to a congenital condition. She was born with Megaesophagus, which means after she eats, she needs to sit upright for about 30 minutes for her food to properly digest. We affectionately call this "snuggle time," and she enjoys this quiet, one-on-one time with her human companions, often falling asleep. Despite this, Nala is a happy, active, and incredibly friendly puppy who gets along wonderfully with dogs, children, and all people. She loves to cuddle and play with her toys, and has a low to medium energy level. Nala is fully house-trained, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a home where her humans understand and can accommodate her "snuggle time" routine after meals. Her friendly nature makes her a great fit for a household with existing pets and children.

Ongoing Health

Nala has Megaesophagus and requires a 30-minute upright feeding routine twice a day.

Training & Support

Nala is fully house-trained and enjoys playtime and cuddles. Her special needs are managed through her feeding routine.
