He would be a perfect match for someone who enjoys hiking, staying active, or playing sports like football or baseball. Mateo's playful personality shines through in his silly antics, whether he's rolling around on his back, wiggling with excitement, or greeting you with enthusiastic face and ear kisses. When the weather turns cold, Mateo also shows his cuddly side and loves to snuggle up close. Mateo was rescued from the streets after an attack a few years ago. Sadly, the word "years" means that he has become the shelter's second-longest resident. The good news? Mateo is more than ready to leave the past behind and find his loving forever home.
