Oscar

Oscar is a charming 5-year-old, 15-pound dapple Dachshund mix with a heart full of love to give. He's a sweet and laid-back fellow who dreams of snuggling up on your lap and sleeping right beside you under the covers. Oscar has made a full recovery after being treated for heartworms and is ready to find his forever home. He adores people of all ages and is great with other dogs, and he doesn't even pay attention to cats.

Ideal Home

Oscar would thrive in a home where he can be a constant companion. He gets a little upset when left alone, so a home where someone is typically there, or a family that can take him along on their adventures would be perfect.

Ongoing Health

Oscar has successfully completed his heartworm treatment and is now in excellent health.

Training & Support

Oscar is currently working on housebreaking. Given his past lack of structure, we believe that with a consistent schedule in a loving home, he'll master this quickly. He is not good with small animals.
