About Iris

Iris is a 12-month-old Golden Retriever with a heart of gold and a mind that's just as bright! She's a confident and stable girl who has been living with her trainer since she was 8 weeks old. Her parents are AKC Champions, and her pedigree boasts a history of longevity, making her an ideal candidate for a long and fulfilling career as a service dog. Iris is exceptionally well-socialized with people, dogs, cats, and other animals, and she's even been exposed to horses! She's affectionate with her family and loves a good game of fetch when she's off duty.

Ideal Home

Iris is looking for a working service dog home. Her training can be customized to suit a variety of needs, including psychiatric, mobility, or hearing assistance.

Ongoing Health

Iris is spayed, fully vaccinated, and current on all preventative care, including flea, tick, and heartworm treatments. She has no known health issues.

Training & Support

Iris has extensive public access training and excellent on and off-leash obedience. Her trained behaviors include sit, down, stay, place, wait, come, heel, under (tucking under chairs/tables), middle (between legs), out (drop toy), kennel, load (get into car), hugs (deep pressure therapy), orbit (crowd control), behind (sit behind handler), bring (retrieve item), crying interruption, anxiety interruption, and nightmare interruption. She is house-trained and travels exceptionally well.

Transporation

Iris is located in Winchester, KY. She can be picked up in person, or transportation can be arranged for an additional fee.
