Coffee

Coffee is a charming 1-year-old male Labrador Creole mix weighing approximately 30 lbs. He's a loving, intelligent, and playful companion who was rescued in March 2024. Coffee is sociable with people of all ages, including children, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. While he can be a little shy at first, he quickly warms up and melts into your arms with affection. He enjoys playtime, walks, and is very joyful and loyal. Coffee is already crate and leash trained. He was found with his six siblings in a field shortly after birth, and they were all rescued.

Ideal Home

We are looking for homeowners with a fenced backyard who enjoy an active lifestyle and outdoor activities. Families with an open mind and heart for rescued animals, understanding their need for protection and education, are ideal. Experience with dog behavior and training, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued pups, is essential. Please note that Coffee is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Coffee has received a comprehensive health protocol, including a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test, and a negative heartworm test. He is on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Coffee is crate and leash trained, but he is not house-trained. Success with Coffee will involve continued patience, understanding of rescue animal behaviors, and dedication to his ongoing training and integration into your home.

Transportation

Coffee is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transportation to your home address on the East Coast is available for an additional fee.
