Olive

Olive is our real-life teddy bear. This sweet girl was found out in the woods with her 7 puppies. She did a wonderful job caring for them, even through the winter! Thankfully, her puppies have all found their forever families. Olive has received her vaccinations, spay surgery, and microchip, and is up to date on prevention. She is heartworm positive but has already begun treatment. We are using a "slow kill" method, so she can be adopted now and will have her recheck in about 9 months.

Ideal Home

Olive is fostered with other dogs and loves her furry siblings. She enjoys snuggles on a soft dog bed or couch and is low energy and easy-going. This girl is a big lover of snuggles and affection! She has also gained a lot of confidence on the leash and out in public. The only thing Olive doesn't love is being alone. We would prefer she be adopted to a home with at least one other dog as a companion for when her humans are gone.

Ongoing Health

Olive is heartworm positive but has already started her treatment. We are doing the "slow kill" treatment method, and her recheck will be in about 9 months.

Training & Support

Olive has built significant confidence on the leash and in public. She thrives with companionship and may need gradual introductions to being alone for short periods if not adopted into a home with another dog.
