Duncan

Duncan is the sweetest little boy, approximately 1 year old and weighing around 19 lbs. His DNA shows him to be a typical multiple breed mix with a lot of Chihuahua! He gets along well with other dogs, loves to play with his squeaky toys, and absolutely adores receiving petting and lots of attention. Duncan is a quiet and well-behaved companion who seems to be pretty well house-trained and does fairly well on a leash, though he could benefit from a little more training.

Ideal Home

Duncan would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of affection and playtime. We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested positive for heartworms when he was rescued. He has been treated with The American Heartworm Society protocols and typically tests negative within 4 to 6 months post-treatment. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (including Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza), and are on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas/ticks, and parasites.

Training & Support

Duncan is pretty well house-trained and does well on a leash, but could use a little more training to help him perfect these skills.
