Cheesey Tango, or "Tango" as his friends call him, is a 50-pound pit bull born on 8/23/23. He's got a signature grin that earned him the "Cheesey" part of his name, and he moves through life with a graceful intention that makes him "Tango." He's athletic, alert, and energetic, but with a composed nature. Tango is the kind of dog who brings a sense of calm and stability to any home. He's naturally observant and seems to understand social cues, making him a dog that people are drawn to.
Tango is a friendly and social guy who enjoys the company of both people and other dogs. He does best with slow, respectful introductions and prefers calm, appropriate interactions over boisterous chaos. In group settings, he's polite and self-controlled. He recently completed a six-week obedience class where he excelled at commands like sit, down, stay, heel, place, and leave it. He's very food-motivated, which makes training sessions engaging and rewarding. Tango loves to learn, has a strong desire to please, and takes pride in doing things well, whether it's walking nicely on a leash or reminding you it's treat time.
At home, Tango is a pleasure to live with. He's crate trained and happily goes into his crate when asked, settling down with a chew toy like a bone or a Kong. He's not destructive, respects his space, and knows how to relax when the day winds down. Despite his composed exterior, Tango is a huge cuddle bug who loves to be close to his people, offering quiet and grounding affection. He's fully potty trained, walks well on leash, and adjusts to new environments with a brief period of observation. His medium energy level means he's happy to join in on activities but equally content to relax.
