Rocky

Rocky is an 8-year-old male Beagle mix with a playful and friendly personality. He absolutely adores squeaky toys and is always up for a good time! When he's ready to unwind, he loves getting his chest and back scratched. Rocky is house-trained and has no history of aggression, not even around food. He gets along well with other dogs, but would do best with calm, laid-back companions rather than energetic or aggressive ones. While he may bark at dogs he sees from a distance, he shows no aggressive tendencies. Rocky has a low-shedding, wiry coat that looks best with regular grooming and shorter haircuts. He's been doing well on Kirkland Lamb & Rice formula and is fed once daily due to a tendency to gain weight.

Ideal Home

Rocky would thrive in a home looking for a loyal companion and ready to offer an easy-going life. He would do best in a home with older children only.

Ongoing Health

Rocky is a healthy boy with no known medical issues or major veterinary concerns. He is up to date on his rabies vaccination.

Training & Support

Rocky is house-trained and has no known behavioral issues requiring significant work. His new family should continue to manage his weight by feeding him once a day.

Rocky is located at our Englishtown Adoption Center at the Englishtown Auction, 90 Wilson Ave. Englishtown, NJ 07726, in the Gray Building. We are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
