Yuki (my name means good fortune)

Sweet Yuki is a young, approximately 3-year-old, neutered Shiba Inu weighing about 30 pounds. His name, "Yuki," means happiness, good fortune, or lucky! Bred for hunting in the Japanese mountains, he is incredibly smart and absolutely loves going on walks and playing with other dogs. He especially enjoys dogs who love to run around and do zoomies, chasing him in the backyard. Yuki loves to be cuddled and will reward you with sweet kisses. It's the cutest thing to see him curl up in bed at night and watch television with you. He is relatively quiet but may bark or whine in his crate if he can see you or if he needs to go outside. Otherwise, he settles down quickly and sleeps soundly. The best part is that he is fully potty trained! Yuki is an amazing little dog who deserves to finally have a home where he can settle down and be part of a real family.

Ideal Home

Yuki would thrive in a home with a moderately active family, including children, and at least one other playful dog. A fenced-in backyard is essential for his zoomies and chase games. This breed is not recommended for first-time dog owners.

Ongoing Health

Yuki is up-to-date on routine vetting, including vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative, and has been microchipped.

Training & Support

Yuki is fully potty trained. He may bark or whine in his crate if he can see you or needs to go out, but otherwise settles quickly.
