Meet Abby! This sweet girl is a Lab/Mixed Breed, estimated to be born around 04/30/2021, and she weighs in at 55-60 lbs. Abby is a recently spayed female and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. She was rescued from Mississippi with her nine puppies, who have all found their loving forever homes. Now it's Abby's turn to find her perfect match!

Abby is a bundle of goofball energy and affection, guaranteed to brighten your day and fill your home with laughter. She absolutely loves people of all ages and will happily soak up belly rubs and butt scratches from anyone willing to give them. When she gets excited, get ready for some tornado zoomies and bunny hops! She also enthusiastically "talks" to you when she's passionate about something. Abby also enjoys a good game of tug of war, but be prepared for a bicep workout, as she's quite strong! She is very food motivated and knows to "wait" patiently for her meals until released. While she's an excellent treat catcher, she's still learning to be "gentle" when taking treats directly from your hand. Abby is great in her crate, happily going in without issue and remaining quiet in calm environments. She'll greet you with joyful excitement when you return home, making every homecoming feel special.

Ideal Home

Abby thrives in quieter environments with a yard, fewer external distractions, and some space between neighbors. She can be selective with dogs, doing best with calm, submissive canine companions, and can cohabitate with proper introductions. Abby is not cat friendly and is not suitable for homes with small animals. She enjoys car rides and adventures but prefers destinations with fewer dogs around.

Training & Support

Abby is working on training and is looking for patient people to continue her journey. While she's learning to be gentle when taking treats by hand, she generally does well with positive reinforcement.
