Meet Bones! 🦴 He's an energetic and loyal American Staffy Mix, estimated to be born around February 25, 2025, and weighs about 60lbs. Bones is a social boy who loves to run, play, and chew on his favorite toys. He's a big fan of blankets and pillows and isn't shy about giving hugs and kisses. He's kennel trained and absolutely adores his people, eager to be close to them and shower them with affection. Bones is full of happy puppy energy and is sure to keep you smiling!

Training & Support
Bones is kennel and potty-trained and is doing well with female dogs. With proper introductions, he may also do well with male dogs. Bath time isn't his favorite just yet, but he's willing to try with patience and love.

- Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
- Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
- Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
- All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
Transporation
Bones is located in Houston, TX. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
