A little about them
Meet Mushu, a sweet, silly, and curious 15-week-old Aussie mix puppy weighing 14 pounds. He can be shy with new people, but once he bonds with you, he is affectionate and loves attention. Mushu enjoys chasing ice cubes, chew and squeaky toys, supervising the puppy yard, and joining other dogs for playtime.
Ideal Home
Mushu would thrive with:
- A fully fenced yard
- A friendly, tolerant dog who enjoys puppy play
- A family with time and patience for continued training and socialization
- Older, dog-savvy children, since enthusiastic puppy play may be too much for young children
- A family willing to complete a meet & greet before adoption
Mushu currently lives successfully with six foster cats, a bunny, and three foster dogs. He may chase the cats and bunny hoping to play, but has shown no intent to hurt them. He has not been formally tested with children.
Ongoing Health
Mushu is almost fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has started monthly Simparica Trio. He will be adopted under a neuter contract, with neutering to be completed at an age-appropriate time determined by ASF and his veterinarian.
Training & Support
Mushu is making good progress with potty training but is not fully house trained yet. He is learning crate training and settles nicely with a chew toy. Collars and leashes are still new to him and will require patience and practice. He does well on car rides, either crated or riding on a lap.
