Nova is a 5½-year-old gentle soul who has been a loyal companion, a quiet presence, and a good girl trying her very best. She enjoys leisurely walks, trips to the dog park, and long naps on the couch. Nova is well-mannered in the house, listens well, and settles comfortably on her own when needed. She gets along with other pets and enjoys being part of a home's rhythm. While she can get a little excited when new people arrive, it comes from a desire to connect, not aggression. Nova is calm, affectionate, and attentive. She can momentarily lose focus when startled by quick movements, but quickly returns to being her steady, loving self. Nova doesn't love being crated for long periods, but she does well on her own when given space and trust. She thrives most when she feels safe, respected, and understood.

Ideally, Nova would do best in a home without young children, where her signals are understood and honored. She thrives in an environment built on respect, patience, and clear boundaries, allowing her to finally feel at ease.
