Malachai

Hello!! My name is Malachi, and I'm a 6-month-old Snugglebug. My foster mom says I'm incredibly goofy and handsome, with the most gorgeous, expressive eyes that are perfectly lined. While I might be a little shy at first, I warm up super quickly and soon you'll be getting adorable hugs and sloppy kisses. My days are filled with getting to know the other dogs, mastering the stairs (I'm so proud of that!), and playing with all my toys.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a family with patience to help me grow into a secure and well-adjusted pup. A large, fenced-in yard would be amazing for me to burn off my energy! I'd also love to have another dog friend to keep me company and show me the ropes. I get along well with the dogs in my foster home, though they're a bit senior and not quite up for my playful energy. I can just picture myself zooming around with a canine buddy!

Ongoing Health

I'm still working on house training but I'm learning to use puppy pads. I'm doing great in my crate now, with no accidents for a while! I was a little unsure at first, but I'm getting better.

Training & Support

My foster mom is helping me get more comfortable with leash walking, and I've made a lot of progress! I'm a smart cookie and notice everything, but sometimes I need a reminder that the outside world, like that noisy UPS truck, isn't scary. I can be a bit mouthy, as many pups my age are, and I'm learning what "no" means when it comes to playful nips. I'm getting better every day at being a gentleman!
