Meet Venus! This sweet 5-year-old, 45 lb Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix is looking for her forever family. Venus is a gentle soul who loves to be by your side, resting her head on your lap and gazing at you with pure adoration. She's a calm and people-oriented girl who's happy to relax with you on the couch or join you for an outdoor adventure. Venus has a lot of love to give and will bring joy and happy woofs to her forever home.

Ideal Home

Venus would thrive in a home where she's truly part of the family. She has shown a strong interest in chasing cats, so a cat-free home or one with very dog-savvy cats would be best. While she hasn't met young children, her foster believes she could do well in a family with older, respectful kids who understand boundaries.

Training & Support

Venus is fully house-trained and crate-trained, and trustworthy when left loose in the house. She is food motivated and learning leash manners, but can pull sometimes. She eats with enthusiasm and does best when fed separately using a slow feeder.

Transporation

Venus is currently being fostered in Woodinville, WA and is available for meet and greets with local adopters. For those outside Washington, out-of-state adoption is possible once an approved adopter is lined up. Transports run every few weeks and dogs will be on the next available transport once approved.
