Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl. Her perky ears are like little bat wings and she loves a good scratch! She has a lot of energy but naps most of the day during work hours. Grace gave birth to 10 puppies shortly after arriving in rescue and was an excellent mom. Now it's her turn to find her forever home! She can sit, lie down, and is completely potty and crate trained. She loves her kennel and will often take naps in it voluntarily; it makes her feel safe, and she happily sleeps there every night. She is working on rolling over, shaking hands, "down," and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. Grace is very strong and requires your full attention on walks, so no airpods for the first few walks. She lives with her foster parents and has no experience with other children, adults, or pets. One of her fosters works from home, and she hangs out with her during the day. Her other foster travels for work often, and Grace definitely notices when they're gone. She is one of those special dogs where when you're in, you're in with her! Grace definitely notices changes in her environment. She was raised by an unsheltered person, which wasn't always easy, and she shows some signs of trauma which she is working on with the help of her fosters and Save-A-Bull. She has a difficult time when initially meeting men but has proven that she can get past this after an initial introduction.
Ideal Home
Grace would do best in a home where she can receive a lot of attention and understanding. Due to her needing all of your attention on walks, homes where she can walk in a quiet area would be ideal.
