Josie

Josie is super playful, loving, and has zero stranger danger. She greets everyone like they're her new best friend and is remarkably confident and adventure-ready! Josie loves jumping in the car for trips and is unfazed by loud noises like vacuum cleaners, power tools, or even fireworks. She is ready to explore the world but also has a wonderful off switch, making her equally adept at chilling and cuddling with you at any time.

Ideal Home

A home where her family is around a lot. She would be fine in homes with another (adult) dog and children. A safe and secure backyard may be a factor in selecting adopters.

Ongoing Health

The pups appear to be in good health. They will need to be quarantined in their homes and backyards 1-2 weeks after they receive their DHPP booster (scheduled for July 21-28) to avoid exposure to parvo and other diseases. Lab Rescue will coordinate future spaying with the adopter.

Training & Support

The puppies are starting from scratch on the basics. Families should be ready for the typical puppy package, which includes a very busy transition period requiring patience for crate training, potty training, messes, and crying. Think patience, consistency, and routine, providing clear boundaries and rewarding positive behavior.
