Princesa

Princesa is a 2-year-old, 27 lb Belgian Shepherd Mix who is as cheerful as she is loving! She’s a social butterfly who adores her people and is always eager for a good hug. Princesa’s playful spirit shines when she’s exploring new surroundings, bounding with excitement. She’s an affectionate pup brimming with positive energy. Her story is one of resilience; at just a month and a half old, she was found abandoned and alone, crying until someone discovered her seeking refuge. After a vet check, she landed in a loving foster home, where she finally began to experience the care and affection she deserves. Now, this sweet girl is ready to find her forever family.

Ideal Home

Princesa is not good with cats. She also prefers to eat her meals peacefully without another dog getting too close to her food.

Ongoing Health

Princesa has been spayed, vaccinated for DHPPI, rabies, and Bordetella. She is dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm and 4DX. She receives monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive treatment and has a current health certificate and vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Princesa will bark to let you know when she hears noises or wants something. Like many rescued dogs, Princesa may need an adjustment period in her new home. Patience, understanding, and a consistent routine will be key to helping her feel secure and build a strong bond with her new family. She is not house-trained.

Transporation

Princesa is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip for adoption. Transport is available to the adopter's home address for an additional fee.
