Cappy

Cappy is a handsome, approximately 2.5-year-old male Boxer/Pit Bull mix who weighs around 55 lbs. He was rescued as a stray off the streets of OKC. Cappy is a happy, friendly, and playful dog who loves people and doesn't know a stranger. He enjoys throwing his toys up in the air and playing with them. Cappy adores people, so he would likely be a great fit for a family with children. He is currently in boarding and plays with higher-energy dogs there.

Ideal Home

Cappy would thrive in a home where he is included in family activities, receives plenty of exercise, and lots of attention. He needs a securely fenced backyard and requires a home check. While Cappy seems to like other dogs, he can play a bit roughly and may approach them too strongly, so he needs to meet any resident dogs in the home before adoption.

Ongoing Health

Cappy is neutered, current on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Since Cappy is in boarding, his house-training status is unknown, but he seems okay in a crate. He is good on a leash with a harness. He needs to meet all dogs in the home prior to adoption due to his play style.
