Niko Cage is a 2-year-old tan Terrier mix, weighing in at a petite 17 pounds. This handsome little guy came to us as an owner surrender after being pulled from a shelter, where he arrived covered in fleas and understandably unsure of the world around him. Despite his rough start, Niko has shown that beneath his cautious exterior is a sweet, affectionate dog who just needed a little patience and kindness. As he's settled into rescue, he's been slowly learning that people can be trusted, and his personality is beginning to shine. Once he feels safe, Niko is incredibly cuddly and loves being close to his people. If you're looking for a loyal companion and have room in your heart for a dog who deserves a fresh start, Niko Cage may be the perfect match. With understanding, consistency, and love, this little survivor is ready to leave his past behind and become someone's devoted best friend.
Ideal Home
Niko would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can adjust at his own pace and continue gaining confidence. He would do best with a canine companion whose temperament and energy level complement his own, or he would be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

Up-to-date vaccines, microchip, and spay/neuter are included in the adoption fee.
Training & Support
Niko is still working on his potty training and will need a family committed to helping him continue building good habits.

- All adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check, and final contract.
- The adoption fee is $400.
- Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a representative to set up a meet and greet.
- We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.

Niko is currently located in our care and we can discuss transportation options with approved applicants.
