Mazie

Mazie is a sweet Anatolian Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray. She initially seemed to prefer the great outdoors, but has discovered the joys of indoor life and creature comforts! Mazie has fully embraced the spoiled dog lifestyle, loving air conditioning, cozy dog beds, and being showered with affection. While she still enjoys her time outside, she's found a wonderful balance between indoor relaxation and outdoor adventures. Mazie is a gem – she's wonderful indoors, great with other dogs, respectful of cats, and has been fantastic with the young children in her foster home. She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but with a bit of patience, she blossoms into a loyal and loving companion. Mazie even has a heroic side; she once alerted her foster family to a kitten trapped in a car, leading to its safe rescue! She weighs just under 50 pounds and is approximately 2 years old.

Ideal Home

Mazie would thrive in a home that can offer both indoor comfort and opportunities for outdoor fun. She's already proven to be a wonderful family dog, getting along with everyone.

Ongoing Health

Mazie is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and current on all preventative medications.

Training & Support

Mazie is an easygoing dog, but can be a little timid when meeting new people. Patience and kindness will help her warm up quickly.
