Bowser and Barry recently found themselves searching for a new place to call home after their beloved elderly owner had to move into senior living and could no longer keep them. Through no fault of their own, these two wonderful dogs are now looking for a safe and loving environment.
Bowser is an 11-year-old sweetheart who has been cherished since she was a puppy. While her age might suggest "senior," Bowser is still full of life and in wonderful health for her age, balancing grace with a playful spirit. She possesses the calm confidence that comes with maturity, coupled with a happy and loving disposition. Bowser is friendly and gentle with everyone she meets, great with kids, dogs, and people. She was cat-tested at the shelter and did great. She is housebroken and walks nicely on a leash. Bowser has been treated for heartworm, recently had senior bloodwork completed, and is in excellent overall condition with great teeth and a healthy coat.
Barry, approximately 3 years old, is Bowser's younger "brother" and loyal companion. He is equally sweet and easy to love – playful, respectful, social, and affectionate. Barry is friendly with people and other dogs. He was also cat-tested at the shelter and did great. Barry is housebroken and leash-trained, and is gentle, social, and eager to bond with his new family.
These two are wonderful mixed breeds with the best qualities: loving, adaptable, and grateful companions who simply want to be part of a family. Both dogs are altered, fully vaccinated, and adoption ready. Bowser and Barry have shared a lifetime of love and companionship, and we would love to see them stay together if possible. However, their safety and happiness are our top priorities, and we are willing to consider separating them for the right homes.
If you are looking for loyal, kind-hearted companions with beautiful temperaments and a story worth changing, Bowser and Barry are waiting for you.
