Sawyer

Sawyer is a pint-sized little guy with adorably big ears who has transformed from a scared pup to one of the most loving and outgoing dogs at the rescue! He absolutely adores meeting new people and is getting more comfortable with being picked up. Sawyer also loves to play with the other dogs and puppies at the rescue and will enthusiastically greet volunteers when they arrive. He's a real sweetheart who actively seeks attention and affection. Sawyer does have a strong fear of leashes, which we believe may stem from a negative past experience. We are slowly working on introducing him to a leash, and with patience and understanding, we're hopeful he'll overcome this fear and become leash-trained. He's already kennel and house trained and has been introduced to cats, proving himself to be an amazing boy.

Ideal Home

Sawyer would do best in a home with children over 5, as he can get a bit jumpy when he's excited.

Ongoing Health

Sawyer is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Sawyer is kennel and house trained. He is working on overcoming his fear of leashes.
