Tennis balls, squeaky toys, fetch, running, more running, then a little more running – Ralphie could run circles around you all day and honestly, probably will. He is a one-dog cardio program. When the energy has finally been spent, Ralphie will find you, locate the nearest blanket, tunnel underneath it like a tiny heat-seeking missile, and cuddle up as close as physically possible. Ralphie is house trained, he sits and lays down. He is currently workshopping his leash walking skills — a work in progress, but we have confidence in his trajectory. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
