Mason

Mason is a 6-month-old, 32-pound Miniature American Shepherd mix who arrived at our rescue on June 11th. He spent his first few months in a county shelter, which was overwhelming and unfamiliar. Initially, he showed submissive urination when worried, but with time and patience, he's blossomed! Now, Mason eagerly goes into his crate for meals, has bonded well with the other dogs, and is learning to come when called. He's a smart pup who is eager to please and learn.

Ideal Home

Mason would thrive in a home with someone experienced with young dogs or enthusiastic about continuing his training. A confident, playful canine companion would be a great addition to his life, as he currently looks to his best friend, Patty, for reassurance. A securely fenced yard is a must for him to expend his puppy energy. We'd prefer he live in a cat-free home.

Mason is fully vetted and on monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Mason is crate trained and house trained. He is also trustworthy when left out of his crate for short periods. He's learning to come when called, and while he knows his name, he also answers to "May May," "Maybe," or "Maybe Baby." He's looking for a family to continue building his confidence.

Transportation

Mason is currently located in our foster network. He can travel safely with one of our trusted transport partners for out-of-state adopters. We adopt to multiple states to help each dog find the perfect forever home.
