This handsome boy is KING, a 6-8 year old lab mix with a fun, fluffy tail that makes him truly stand out! He's a solid "10" on a scale of 1-10 for energy and loves to live life to the fullest, but he's also sweet, quiet, and gentle. KING is a well-rounded companion who thrives on activity, but he's not high maintenance and is quite self-sufficient. He's a smart cookie with good common sense, following directions like going into his crate or being quiet. While he's generally quiet, he will bark to alert you to anything unusual. KING isn't driven by high food or prey drives, making him a calm presence around meal times. When he nudges his face against yours, your heart is sure to melt!

Ideal Home

KING would thrive in an active home with people and other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats. He would love a yard to play in.

Ongoing Health

KING was found hit by a car and has physical scars, but these do not impact his ability to live a full life. He is fully functioning and nothing holds him back.

Training & Support

KING is crate and house-trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He has no known storm or separation anxiety and no major behavioral issues. However, he has been known to chew plastic water bowls, so metal ones are best! He walks well on a leash and rides well in the car, enjoying looking out the window.
