About Vanna

Vanna is an approximately 4-year-old German Shepherd mix who is spayed and vaccinated. She's a true "Velcro dog" who loves to be by her human's side, whether you're relaxing at home, going for a walk, or taking a road trip. Vanna enjoys playing fetch and car rides, and has a wonderful medium energy level that makes her a great companion for both adventures and downtime. She has been trusted to free roam in her foster home and has proven to be respectful and non-destructive. Vanna has lived successfully with dog-savvy cats and gets along with other dogs when outside of the house, though she prefers a home without them. When meeting new people, Vanna can be a little reserved at first and prefers to take her time getting comfortable. Once she feels secure, her affectionate and devoted personality shines through. She has also been around young children and seemed more comfortable observing from a distance, so she may be happiest in a home with older children or dog-savvy kids who can respect her space. Vanna thrives with structure, consistency, and clear expectations. She is crate trained and continues to make progress with her leash skills and overall confidence. She can be protective of valued resources, so she will do best with an adopter committed to providing continued guidance and reinforcing good habits. Vanna is eager to bond and learn, and with the right home, she has all the tools to continue succeeding.
