Dexter is smart and eager, but he would benefit from continued training and consistent structure. He can chew on things he shouldn't if not given proper outlets, so he'll do best with someone who can provide supervision, enrichment, and appropriate chew toys. Because of his intelligence and energy level, Dexter Doo would truly thrive with a job-whether that's advanced obedience, agility, scent work, herding activities, or another form of structured mental stimulation. He needs an active owner who can dedicate time to exercising both his body and mind. With the right person, Dexter Doo has the potential to be an incredibly loyal, fun, and devoted partner.
