Sophie is happiest when she's sharing her gentle heart with humans and other dogs. She plays beautifully with other dogs and has shown little interest in livestock. Sophie is loyal and an excellent listener, always staying close and checking in often. She is well on her way to being house-trained and has been a dream in foster care, with no chewing, excessive barking, digging, or destruction. Sophie enjoys a fun romp outside in the morning and is content to snooze nearby for the rest of the day. She is a medium-sized, fully grown dog who would be the perfect companion for adventures, road trips, apartments, or smaller homes. Sophie would thrive with another playful dog or in a home where someone is around often. She asks for very little—just love, companionship, and a place to call home. Sophie shares a special bond with her best friend, Cindy. While they don't have to be adopted together, it would be a dream to see these two sweet girls start their next chapter side by side.
