Hi there, I'm Mychelle! I'm a FUN, FRIENDLY, and ACTIVE puppy, approximately 4 months old and weighing around 20 lbs. I made my way to Mostly Mutts with the help of a kind person, and I'm having a blast with all the volunteers. I'm so excited to be ready to find my forever family and grow up with them! I even participated in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups training program and learned so much!
Ideal Home
I enjoyed being around the dogs in my former home and at Mostly Mutts, so I'd love a canine friend in my new home! Cats are unknown at this time. While I was reported to be good with kids previously, I'm currently in a very mouthy puppy stage with some herding tendencies. Because of this, a home without very young children would be best, and we should still meet to be sure!
Ongoing Health
I've started my puppy vaccinations, but you'll need to complete them as I grow. I've also been micro-chipped and spayed.
Training & Support
I'm a graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups training program, where I mastered 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it', and 'place'. I also practice good door etiquette, walk nicely on a leash, and greet strangers without jumping. I am still a mouthy puppy and am working on my 'leave it' command. A puppy-proofed home will be helpful as I explore and taste everything! I can be a bit chewy, so ongoing training to discourage this is a must. I'm looking for a family committed to teaching me everything I need to know to become a wonderful adult dog. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all adopted dogs once my puppy shots are complete! My crate manners were good in my former home and during training, and I enjoy sleeping outside my crate overnight. My potty manners were also good during my training program, and we hope they'll be just as great in my new home!
