George

George is the funniest, gentle giant you'll ever meet! He absolutely adores attention and is always up for an adventure. George loves his walks, but be warned, he's a very strong boy! He came to our shelter with his buddy Jazz; they are quite the pair but will be perfectly happy being adopted out separately. We affectionately call George our "Teddy-Dog" because he is just so incredibly sweet.

Ideal Home

George would do best in a family with older children, as his strength could easily knock over little ones.

Ongoing Health

All dogs at our shelter are vet checked, tested for heartworm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and dewormed. If old enough, they are also spayed or neutered. Please note that heartworm testing may not have been done on puppies adopted before they are old enough for the test.

Training & Support

George is a strong walker and will need continued guidance to manage his strength on leash.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• An application to adopt must be filled out prior to any adoption.
• Adoption fees for spayed or neutered dogs/puppies are $125 (+ MN State Sales Tax).
• Adoption fees for dogs/puppies that have not yet been spayed or neutered are $125 + a $50 deposit (+ MN State Sales Tax). The $50 deposit is refundable upon return of a signed voucher from your vet, by the date agreed upon with the adoption specialist.
• Adoption fees for senior dogs (7 years or older) are $55 (+ MN State Sales Tax).

Transportation

George is located at the Brown County Humane Society. Shelter hours are Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. If Saturdays do not work, please call to set up an appointment to meet him.
